Day 20. Hospital de Orbigo

We continue to move forward but not quite the way we had planned. Today we went by bus. We have really experienced all the modes of transportation in Spain. We arrived in Hospital de Orbigo, a small but historical town that has a very long bridge. This bridge is one of the longest medieval bridges dating from the 13th century.  See photos. 

Math problem:

Mrs. Town travel 22km from Calzadilla de la Cueza to Sahagun by taxi, 55km from Sahagun to Leon by train and 32km from Leon to Hospital de Orbigo by bus. How many kilometres did she travel using public transportation?

Pamploma is 427km from Hospital de Orbigo. How many of those kilometres did she walk?

It's important to focus on what you accomplish!  Our plan was to walk everyday day, the entire way to Santiago but sometimes plans need to be changed so the goal can be accomplished. The goal is to get to Santiago ( and get the class shell there) and our journey may have bumps and twists and turns. But if I hadn't been in Leon resting my leg I would have missed Perry and hot chocolate with churros!!!  

We will continue to move forward.
